We don’t know how you feel about it, but for us the Black Cap is to “bourgeois” what kryptonite is to Superman.

Just exactly how a shoe, a simple canvas sneaker at that, can radiate so much attitude is a mystery even to us. Perhaps it’s all in the name: “All Black”, inscrutable, by no means a chatterbox, but instead someone who wears their heart on their sleeve and their values on their…well…feet! Not so much “happy go lucky” as happy with depth.

The Black Cap shoe, especially in its original black, ties any outfit together with a nonconformist twist as individual as your own signature. Step out with a natural ease exuding your own cool, wild, maverick style. Oh, what a shoe can do!

While on the Spanish island of Lanzarote, Esther Suave was eager to snap a chic shot of her Black Caps for us in the middle of a jump; but not, as it turns out, quite as eager as her dog was to photobomb every pic (see the shadow on the car door)! In the end Esther smiled and gave up. After all, “doggedness” is not really one of Black Cap’s traits. It’s not casual. And it gives you wrinkles!
