Carl is a comfortable, durable, 80s-inspired high-top sneaker with a wide range of models, covering a spectrum from retro to modern.
The upper material is made from GRS-certified recycled PU leather, specially developed by ethletic for future use in the circular economy. It is also characterized by its high wearing comfort and a memory effect that almost always guarantees a perfect fit.
The upper material consists of a high-quality leather substitute with a particularly soft feel, high wearing comfort, and a natural look. The material is durable, water-repellent, and GRS-certified, meaning it is made from 100% recycled components, which are also recyclable. Additionally, the leather substitute has been re-tested by ethletic for critical elements and ingredients.
For particularly high durability, the natural rubber sole is processed with a slightly thicker seam than is customary with conventional manufacturers. The natural product is regranulatable and can thus be reused for the production of new soles.
All other materials, such as laces, labels, and yarns, are Oeko-Tex certified and can be recycled after their life cycle.
